Heat exchanger water analysis

Quickly check whether your water is suitable for your heat exchanger – before problems arise.

System conditions Set the operating conditions of your system. Higher temperature and salinity make the water more aggressive to the material – and lower the allowed limits automatically.

Heat exchanger material The material of your heat exchanger determines what the water may contain. Each type has a different tolerance – titanium is extremely chloride-tolerant, while copper is very sensitive.

Select the material your heat exchanger is made of:

Sample data Enter the results from your water analysis. Only fill in the fields you have data for – you can hide the rest with the × button. If you haven't measured yet, use the defaults as a starting point. You can also add your own custom parameters with the "Add parameter" button below.

Water quality: Approved

Compliance radar (% of max limit) Each axis shows how close your water is to the limit for that parameter. Red dots = over the limit (rejected), yellow = near the limit (warning), blue = OK.

100% = max limit. Red dots mean the value exceeds the limit.

Chloride limit vs temperature Shows how the maximum allowed chloride concentration drops as temperature rises for the selected material. Higher temperature = more aggressive water.

Compare materials Evaluates the same water sample against all four materials. ✓ = within limits, Δ = near limit, ✕ = over limit. Helps you choose the right material.
